Charles Cao was born in Guizhou, China and moved to Canada at a young age. Ever since he was young, he had a connection with art. Charles used it as a way to connect to people in his class. Through sharing stories and characters he'd created, he was able to bond with his newfound friends. By consuming various forms of media by people he admired, Charles was able to overcome poor mental and stress. This is what motivated him to pursue the Way of an Artist.
Fast-forward to Highschool, Charles Cao went to a high school for the arts, studying visual arts. This is where I met Charles. The first time we met, we instantly connected on this idea of Art, his main form being visual art and mine being music.
So we meet on the first episode of The Way Podcast to talk about: What is art?, What does it mean to us? and How does it fit into our society?
